Hello from Pittsburgh!
Saying goodbye to our 2009 Jayco 298RLS that we have loved every minute of and had no plans on getting rid of already. Saw the 2014 Windjammer and it caught the attention of my wife an I immediately so we went for it, which is totally out of our character. Pick it up in 2 weeks and I can't wait to get it.

Congrats of your new Windjammer. We too our from the Pittsburgh area (New Brighton). Like you we traded in one of our Jayco's in on a Class C. Wife likes the bigger Jayco on our seasonal site.
The Coach is for traveling and Jeep events that we try to attend.
Enjoy and welcome!

Welcome from Central PA! Heading out your way soon for my daughter's graduation at Robert Morris University! We're so excited for both graduation and our first camping adventure with our Roo! Planning on staying at Raccoon Creek State Park. Been there?

MommaHuffman, congrats on your daughter's graduation!
It's been many a year since I stayed at the park, and it was always group camping in the cabins. The campground is on a bluff above the lake, and is very pretty. Not all sites have electric, and none have water and sewer, although water and a dump station are available.
The park itself is extremely under-utilized by the local community. First day of trout it's shoulder to shoulder, and deer season the woods are loaded up, otherwise it's not overly crowded. Lots of people do ride horses through the park though, and there are gorgeous hiking trails - make sure you head across Route 30 to the Wildflower Reserve.
If you have any questions about the area other than the park, please ask! I grew up here and aside from college and a few years in Baltimore for my first job, have lived within 10 miles of the park my whole life.
Safe travels!

We are itching to get ours, we pick it up next Saturday. We picked up our Jayco yesterday from storage in the mind and spent the day today emptying it out. Hopefully you get yours soon and start enjoying it!!

welcome from Paris.
Hello and that's Paris Pa. Hanover township Washington county. My wife and i are neewbies, bought a 2014 3051s Forester in Sept. Have been on a couple shake downs, one up to Somerset County . Then as you know the brutal winter set in. BUT we are going fulltime, as soon as our house sells, saying Good Bye to cold and snow. So congrats on your new unit and on the road look for Steeler and Bucco flags on a forester and stop on by and say hello.
P.S. Know of anyone looking for a house in Hanover twp. send them our way.

We have our TT on a seasonal site at Shenango Valley RV Park in Transfer PA (north of Mercer). Our new Coach will be used for our trips to Put-In-Bay, Jeep events and vacations.
Where do you camp at?

Hey Pittsburgers!
I have searched for rv parks with full hookups close to downtown but haven't found anything closer than 20 miles away. My parents live in the city and I would like to be closer. Theres a really nice empty lot next to the Hof Brau that would make a great rv park!
Thanks and welcome

We live in Baldwin and spend most of our time in Pymatuning on the Ohio side. Took our first road trip last year, and went to Maine. Looking at Virginia this summer and maybe Cooks forest and Cape May.

Nice to see so many Pyme people! We also spend most of our camping time these days on the PA side of Pymatuning. Maybe we can get a FROG rally set up!
