Still would not have lined up with my screen door opening, but I would have modified my screen door. Have a disabled adult daughter who can use a keypad, not keys. A keypad lock would literally be a life changer for us.
Unless installed at factory, the manufacturers are not likely accurate enough for you to provide one size fits all, or even most..

You are right, our handles are designed to "one size fits most" specifications. For the most part our systems fit well on most models. We do offer a vinyl backing sticker to correct the what you are describing. Occasionally our handle doesn't cover paint or decal gaps and this backing can be place between the trailer and the handle to cover this type of area. These can be found here: https://www.rvlock.com/collections/a...s/vinyl-gasket
For your daughter's use you might consider our Vi3 Keyless System. The keypad is separate from the handle and can be placed where it would be the most convenient for her to access. Many customers with varying needs have found this a helpful accommodation. https://www.rvlock.com/collections/f...ry-system-v4-0
Also, I'm not exactly clear on your suggestions for varying the pin lengths. We are always open to feedback that helps us improve our product. I'd love to have a little more information on what your need is there.
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave feedback and suggestions for us. I'm happy to help you out with any further questions.

Good on the backer piece. For the pins, I am referring to the two pieces which go into the striker plate. Depending on the door hole cut out, and swimming the lock to cover the existing hole in the door, the pins may not cleanly go into the striker plate slots.
I think you are very close, of not already as good as can be for a universal fit. Well, other than the inner handle being farther towards the hinge side.
Daughter can reach the lock, just cannot manage keys well.
We may order again later this year, since the backer piece option will solve the major problems. Now of the inside handle was not as far from the edge so it clears the screen opening better, and of the inside handles were not plastic, but that is just me...

Sir,
Have you addressed the issue of the thicker baggage doors as shown in the reviews on your website?
Can you advise the max thickness the baggage lock will work on?
Thanks.

RV Lock V4
Hi,
I have a 2021 FR3 30DS and I purchased the "RV Lock V4" and asked the dealership to put it on for me. They say that it is not compatible. Is there an "RV Lock" brand that will work on my unit?
Thanks!

Take a look at their fit guide and see if this helps you chose the right product for your RV.

The only thing that sometimes drives me nuts.. The BEEP! that it lets out when it locks and unlocks. It is loud sometimes at night when it is all quiet out there! LOL I wish I could either turn it down a few decimals or shut it off.
Definitely an A++ product, welcome!

The RVLock BEEP can be turned on or off. As far as I know, the volume of the BEEP cannot be adjusted, but please let us know if anyone knows differently.
We turned ours off for the reasons mentioned above. Press and hold the "1" button for five seconds until you hear a double beep, and you're done. Do it again until you hear a single beep to turn it back on again.
