Hello from San Diego, CA - New Wildwood X-Lite owners

Way too early here in CA to be posting, but here I am.

DH and I are having our 2014 Wildwood X-Lite 26BHXL pulled (by a dealer-hired professional trucking co) to our permanent site in San Diego's local mtns this SAT.

Besides setting the trailer, the driver will level it as well. Our site does not have power ( we have a Honda generator). We hope to access water from a neighboring site.

We planned to buy a small trailer, but we both liked the space in the Wldwd X-Lite. We have our first grand child and we look forward to having him camp with "Opa" (DH) and "Oma (me).

Since out TT will be permanently parked, we we will miss out on the adventure of towing a small house. That's okay! DH and I can barely drive to Target without bickering over who's the worst driver.

The lovely trailer park park where we lease a site is less than an hour from our home and the drive in San Diego's mountains to our site is beautiful. The park is vacation-only and attracts a wonderfully diverse group.

I am happy to have found this forum and look forward to listening, learning, and sharing.

Thanks,

Oma (AKA Marjorie)

Thanks, BamaBob. I'll have plenty of questions. Some smart; some dumb.

Hi there! All questions are welcome so please do post. I had a really big learning curve when I first became an RV owner.

San Diego is an beautiful area to have your RV at but you already know that.
