Hello from San Diego soon to be throughout California and the USA

Hi everyone! Grateful for the opportunity to participate in this community. So we are finishing up a deal on a 2006 Cherokee 28a+. This will be our FIRST TT. We started talking two years ago about taking off4-6 weeks and traveling the country. At some point my wife said, hotels will be expensive, what if we got a TT, we could always sell it later, bit the hotel $ will be long gone?

So our goal was to get an inexpensive used TT to go across the country to the East coast and back. We think the bunkhouse layout and two slide outs will work for us.

I’ll be posting in the appropriate threads for help with east coast camping along the outer banks of NC, myrtle beach, Hilton head, etc.

I will need more help than I can give at first, but hope to be a solid contributing member at some point.

Welcome aboard. Enjoy your travels as this lifestyle is a blast. I live in southeast Virginia and may be able to help you out a little when you get to the east coast.

Welcome from Alabama. Let us know if you would rather avoid the nightmare that is Atlanta in your travels to NC. My DH knows most of the good secondary routes.
