Hello from San Jose California

I am grateful to be able to join this forum. I hope to share as much as I learn from all of you. I have been camping for over 40 years.
I started with
Tent
Truck camper 1 and truck camper 2
Fifth wheel
Tent
Hybrid 23B kiwi
Hybrid roo 23ss
The insurance company totaled the kiwi, long story. I found the roo in Huntsville, Alabama 2500 miles away. I put together a road trip that cross 10 states, along the way I enjoyed some of the best sites of Route 66 and other local areas. The roo is in great condition but the previous owners did not know how to take care of the bunks. I have some work to do , but I am having fun with it. The first mod we did , is a sliding cover for the important switches on the trailer. I have small grand kids and did not want the awning or slide out to be moving at the wrong time. I will post pictures of the part later, my son in law printed it on our 3D printer.

Welcome to FRF!

We're former California residents and we did a similar trip for our 23SS.
4000 mile RT, from Napa to Chicago and back.

Nearly 10 years later and we're still using it.

West Coast prices are so high that many of us do this kind of trip.

Hi there neighbor!

We're from SV also. Hope you enjoy some of the local camping spots. There's some wonderful parks nearby! Been Rving for about a year now and love it. Maybe we'll see you out there!

Bye...
