Hello from SC

HI all,

I have frequented the Forums before but felt I should "enlist" now that I have a Roo on order. Quick history, Dad bought a Starcraft Venture pup in 1974 after returning from Thailand so I have had camping in the blood for a long time. When my boys came along we got into "Scouting" and camped in tents for well over a decade. Now that the boys are grown I needed a camping fix bad so over a year ago I bought a used Rockwood pup to introduce the DW to camping (all along she felt that scouting was just a guy thing.) First attempt to take the pup out ended in a complete "balk" as DW chickened out with the following arguments: It's hot, there is no bathroom, it shakes a lot, I can hardly get in it. . . .over the winter she began to feel bad and agreed to finally give it a go. Needless to say like Mikey "She Liked It." But I also came to grips with the fact we are not getting any younger. Besides the extensive set up and break down I had to acknowledge it was I not her that made the most trips to the privey in the middle of the night. So now we have decided to "camp with elegance"
