Hello from SE New Mexico

My wife and i just purchased a 2014 Forest River EVO T2850, We love this camper very nice inside and outside. We are very excited to take it on hunting and fishing trips. Im hoping to learn how i can make some modifications to it to fit our style just a tad bit. One question that i do have is should i replace the existing lights with led light.

Thanks Jay

I haven't caved in to the LED thingy yet. I full time and the only lights that I have had to replace is the outside light (1034?). Sorry still can't let go of the incandesent thing, still old school. however I have made several mods. If you mod you must post pics. Starting on the man cave:

LED's are essential if you plan to dry camp, but not so much elsewise. Drycamping and boondocking require a very careful look and power supply (batteries, generator, solar panels) and power consumption (lights, A/C, etc.) and some expenditure of $$ to do it right.

If you are going to RV park camp with hook up's all the time, LED's and the rest are unnecessary. If you are going to use a generator alot and not put extra batteries etc in you camper, then you may not need them either.

Lots to consider and the lights are just part of it.

I'm still using the original light bulbs that came with my TT but will switch to LEDs once the bulbs goes out. Some LED light colors are better than others. It's a personal choice but it wouldn't hurt to test one bulb out first before investing big bucks.

Good luck.
