Hello from south central PA
Hi everybody,
We are new to camping and we are scheduled to pick up our Salem Cruise Lite 195BH a week from tomorrow. We plan on camping all over PA and we wanted to start with an entry level unit and then see how bad we have the "camping bug". We are about two years away from retirement and we wanted to get a couple of years of experience under our belts before we expand our horizons in the camping world. Our goal is to make lots of new friends and see as many of the places that we are interested in as we possibly can. I am already making a list of newbie questions to bombard you with. We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this group. Thank you all. Michael and Barb.

Welcome to the forums Michael and Barb. Good to have you here and fire away with those questions!
Enjoy you new trailer!
(I bet that you find yourselves bitten by the "camping bug" pretty hard )

Also from PA, just Northeast of Allentown near the Pocono's. Welcome to the Forum, have been camping all my life but, just recently bought a used Travel Trailer to use with my own family.
Fire away with the questions is right, everyone is VERY helpful.
Good luck and Happy Camping!

Hello from York Pa. You will love it, we just retired and went full time in our MH. Doing Florida over the winter and back to Pa. In the summer plus traveling. Try Buttonwood in central Pa, it's nice there. Enjoy

Hello, from southern York County!
That same bug bit us this year too. In PA we camped at Raystown Lake, Granite Hill Gettysburg, and a nice little place in Newville called Dogwood Acres. All very good experiences.
I found this forum to be the best source of info, tips, tricks and even laughs from folks who have been there/done that!

DeeMax, we must be neighbors back home, you must try Buttonwood in Mexico PA / Port Royal. Only 1 1/2 hours from home which is nice and a really nice place to go. If you like trains stay along the river if not stay up top.

Welcome from the WB (that's Wilkes Barre to the rest of the country!) These forums are the absolute best reference you'll find for info about your unit, and camping in general. Great bunch of peeps on here, super helpful, and almost always right! We're actually doing a last hurrah for the year over Thanksgiving weekend, new place (for us) near Lehighton. Enjoy the new unit!

Welcome to the forums! Congrats on your new Salem Cruise Lite. I love my CL unit so I think you will be happy too as it makes a great starter unit. Have questions? Just ask.
Do you have plans yet for camping?

Time on my hands
Hey Everybody,
As you probably know from my previous posts, we are picking up our new Salem Cruise Lite TT this coming Saturday. So here I am, trapped at home recouperating from colon surgery with a RAGING case of camping fever. So all I have to do is pester you poor people with newbie questions. (lucky you) . I would like to know what you guys are using for camper levels. I have seen several of the stick on type and I actually have a couple of small plastic levels that I don't use in my shop that I could dedicate to the camper. What do you guys find easiest to use? Thanks, Michael.

All OK
Hope everything went well with the surgery and congrats on the new trailer.
I use stick ons and carry an old 2ft. alum. level to use inside the trailer. Thinking about a bubble level mounted on the 5'vr hitch.

When I had my 5th wheel I used a 2 foot level and laid it inside the door on the floor. That worked great. Have fun camping.
