Hello from South Florida

This will be our second RV in 3 months. My wife is so great she is accepting of my psychosis. After outfitting and building/ordering a brand new 2012 Class C Jayco Greyhawk, 32 foot beauty, we quickly discovered on our very first trip to the lovely Key West (Bluewater Key Resort) that is was too small.
Well it would have been perfect for two adults but we bought an RV so our Labrador Retriever , our African grey parrot, and our Mexican Double Yellow Head parrot could travel with us. Once we set up the stacked cages there was no kitchen/galley space and our 83 lb chocolate Lab ended up in the hallway. Then when it rained for 4 out of 7 days we realized our dilema.
Of course the dealers were only too happy to take a barely used pristine fully optioned 2012 Class c toward a gorgeous 2013 Forest River Georgetown XL 378TS on order......so here I am.
So much great information on these forums. Glad to be here and part of the fun. We are new to camping but I vawed never again to allow TSA to abuse my wife or me. Plus we love our pets and they are our family.
You will not get me on a jet in this lifetime.
I am retired and hope to experience more and more adventures with fellow RVers.
Greetings!

Welcome to the Forest River Forums! Sounds like the space in your Georgetown will be put to good use.

Take care,
