Hello from Southern California

New to the travel trailer world. We just purchased our 2018 Sonoma 240BHS Explorer Edition. Our first trip is set for next month. We can’t wait! Any tips/suggestions that have to do with the Sonoma are greatly appreciated! Roam Sweet Roam!

Suggestion: Yes - many RV owners here will suggest that "camp out" in your driveway and experience your needs. You will want buy a few items.

Welcome from TX. and congratulations on your new trailer.

I like the extra doorway at the bathroom. Wish we had a 2nd entry ( don't know where it could be put though ).

What makes the Explorer Edition different from the standard Sonoma?

I'm always curious what people are towing with.

Thank you! The second door entry to the bathroom is nice. Especially since we like to do beach camping. Sandy feet don’t have to be going through the whole trailer, because conveniently there is an outdoor shower next to the second door. The Explorer Edition is different from the Mountain Edition because it has a slide, and they are overall bigger. We are towing with our Toyota Tundra. It does well. We also had the E2 hitch installed with weight distribution and sway control. It made for a smooth ride from the dealership. What do you have, and what are you towing with?

All that good stuff in listed in my signature. This was all the 2nd round of buying. The learning curve was expensive.
