I'm not sure how I survived all those pre-internet years when purchasing big ticket items but forums such as this one made the decision making process much easier. Nothing spontaneous about the upgraded from our 2011 Keystone Hideout to our 2014 Primetime Spartan 1234x this past summer. Kinda like going from dial-up to DSL, big difference.
We've had the maiden voyage (only trip to date) with our camper and are about to embark on our next, that being a cross country trip in a few weeks. Been camping since 2010 and thoroughly enjoy it, to the point that we plan on transitioning into full timers once I retire.
Originally from Northern Ohio, spent several years in Alaska and have been here in MA for just over a year. Headed to the PNW for the next job stint. Looking forward to experiencing a place where the trees and wildlife once again outnumber the population.
Our Spartan was purchased to haul our 2013 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Limited. Been a ham radio operator for many years and also enjoy photography. My wife and I are both excited to now be part of the FR Family and she is really enjoying her extra kitchen space. With this being our first 5'er, I'm still learning but with practice comes knowledge. All the more reason to camp as much as possible.
