Hello... from Sunny Sacramento California

Hello all, We have been pop up campers for quite awhile and think we might want to move into camping in a new hybrid trailer. We are just starting to look at the Rockwood Roo line of hybrid trailers. I've been looking over posts on the forum for a short period of time and find the site very informative. Anyways, I just wanted to introduce ourselves to the group...... and our search for the ultimate trailer begins

welcome to FRF!

i live in Napa and have family in Sacto.

i'll warn you upfront, prices for Roos out here, are 30% or more higher, than prices in the Midwest.
we were so disgusted with local Roo dealers' greed, we drove to Chicago and back and saved over $4k even after trip costs.
plus we were able to get the exact model/options we wanted.

Best RV in Turlock has the best Roo prices in the state but they have a terrible rep after the sale.
we went there when we were shopping and ended up with such a bad experience, we'll never buy anything from them, no matter how cheap they are.

feel free to PM me, if you have any questions or need some info on Roos.

Welcome from Sacramento
Good luck with your search for the Roo. This may be a long shot, but have you tried Toy Hauler Liquidators in Rocklin? They sell used and new trailers. We purchased from them and had a positive experience with them.

Thanks for the welcome, and thanks for the name of the dealer. I'll look into that option . I sure wish that there were more good dealers that carry the Roo's out here.

Welcome from South Carolina. My son recently moved back home from Sac.
Spent some time there roaming the area with him. Loved it.

Welcome from Chico. We camped in a pop-up for years and have just purchased a new 32 foot 5er. Looking forward to our first trip.

Hi OP and welcome. I was like you and have been learning a whole lot of information from these forums. Everyone here at FRF have been very helpful and I've learned so much. I actually live about 20 mins from Toscano and I can honestly say they've been a great experience for someone who's never even towed before. I've been working primarily with Dave & James and they've been great. Have fun and happy camping!
