Hello from SWVA!

Hello, we recently purchased a 2013 Sabre 34TBOK a move up from our 2000 Coachman travel trailer. We are loving it so far and thoroughly enjoy having enough space to be in the same room at the same time! We found this site while searching for information. We enjoy camping and spend alot of our time camping in the mountains of Southwest Virginia.

Hi and welcome. I have a question for you. We would like to visit the Roanoke area. The only place I can seem to find to camp that is fairly close to Roanoke and is nice"er" is Smith Mtn Lake CG. Would you have any other suggestions for that area?

Roanoke

Hello,
I believe Smith Mountain Lake will be your best campground as it is a part of the State Parks system. We have not stayed there either, but I am not familiar with a better facility. There is a camp ground right off the exit at Dixie Caverns, but it is very small and not much room. The caverns entrance is right in the campground. Sorry I have not been very helpful but you will not be disappointed w/ SMLSP

to the FR Forums and congrats on your new 2013 Sabre 34TBOK! Sounds like you have RV experience but if you have any questions please do ask.
