Hello from Tennessee!

Hope this isn't too long but I really wanted to share our first NEW camper buying experience.

Finally pulled the trigger today! 2017 Grey Wolf 27dbs. Played the waiting game and it seems to have payed off, patience really is a virtue sometimes. I've been trolling the forums of all the campers that were in our sights for the past year or so and the one we really got excited about is the one I didn't even know about until a month ago, and it was only 90 miles from home. That seemed to be the biggest problem.....finding a camper we really wanted to look at but anyone that actually had it on their lot was 500+ miles from us. So finding this camper and then finding it on a lot 90 miles from home Garlands's RV Mega Center in Hopkinsville KY | New and Pre-Owned Forest River and Keystone RVs | Parts and Services for RVs, Motorhomes, Campers and Trailers. had to be a sign.....right?
Then to top it off when I went to get the address this morning and I noticed that they were having a 2 day sale and the very camper we were going to look at was $6000 less than it was the day before, which I felt was too high before the sale but at least we would be able to walk through the camper and make a real decision on the layout and feel of the camper. So we decide to start some paper work and see what's up with final cost. The guy didn't know the lot number of the camper off the top of his head and they had 3 so they just picked one and went with it....well me being the forum troll that I am have seen far too many post of people with the same camper but one having no problems and one being a nightmare, so I tell him that I want to see the other 2 before we finalize anything and sure enough the one we looked at had the stainless appliances, frosted glass cupboard doors, back splash behind the stove, wood behind the tv instead of the faux brick and the tub/shower surround.......the one we were actually purchasing had none of that and the trim looked like it came out of the 2nd hand pile or something. Soooooo the salesman goes back in and has them redo the paper work with the right number on it and they sell us the upgraded camper for the non-upgraded price! Now we can just hope that our first camping adventure will go as good as the new purchase!
Again, greetings to all and hope to be on soon with a positive camping experience to share!
