Hello from the CA High Desert!

New family checking in. We just purchased a 2020 Salem 263BHXL and are getting ourselves acquainted with our new toy. This is our first RV. We were in the market for a few months, and where not happy with the condition of the "used" units we looked at. So, we decided to buy new. Our first outing will be over Thanksgiving, not to far away, just joining other family members out in the desert. I am looking forward to tapping the knowledge of the longtime campers on this forum.

Thanks for the welcome! Now on to some other sections of the forum to hopefully get a few questions answered. We thought we did a pretty through PDI, but now some questions have come up after doing some playing around.
Thanks again!

Welcome from SW FL .... PDI can be difficult ... our dealer schedules 3 hours and we used all of it ... we had a good tech and when we got there the unit was up and running 100 % ... it was 95 and hot but we still turned on and ran the furnace ... Best of Luck

No, but we had found a pretty through check list and think we covered the important stuff, but after a few days of playing, some things popped up that were not well covered, or in our sleep deprived state (we had the grandkids overnight) we didn't absorb. A video may of helped, but..... The slide manual operation came up and the salesman really didn't give me an answer I could comprehend or believe, so I have posted a question in the "slide out" sub forum.
