Hello from the Hudson Valley!

I just joined this Forum and would like to introduce myself. My husband and I just bought a 2011 Roo 23SS last summer. We had been camping for a great many years in a pop-up. We have not done much camping with the Roo, but we did go to North Myrtle Beach last summer for about 2 weeks. What a change from the pop-up. Love, just love my Roo. We also take our dogs with us, an old black Lab mix, a Schnauzer/terrier mix, and our German Shepherd who we just lost to cancer in February. It's a lot, but my dogs are well behaved. Our boys are grown and on their own, but when we say "going camping" they want to go to. We are, for now towing the Roo with a 2006 Ford Explorer, but we want to change up to a larger vehicle. I will be asking a lot of questions, so please be patient with me as I am a newbie to the TT and to using Forums. I think I'm going to like all of this!

Welcome to the "Roo Kroo"!!!

and the exclusive 23SS Owners Club!

we also lost our 14 year-old Golden, right before Christmas. she'd camped with us her entire life.
not looking forward to camping without her, it'll be very weird.

plenty of 23SS owners here to help with info and mod ideas.
i'm finishing up hard-wiring a 400w inverter for the tv and dvd, in my 23SS. ours didn't come with a 12v cig outlet.

i hope you're not towing with a v-6 Exploder!
i owned one and sold ours when we decided to buy the 23SS. no way i would have tried towing it through the Sierras with a v-6.

Thank You! We are towing with the V-8 Explorer. Looking to replace that with a bigger SUV that has room for the dogs and has more power for towing. I think this Forum is going to be a big help!
