Hello from the KrazyK

Hello. Just stopping in to introduce myself.

We have just purchased our first travel trailer and will begin a 1-3 year trip across (around) the US. I have five children, four of which will be traveling with us. We are looking forward to an amazing adventure.

If you would like to follow along, we will be blogging here: Kronicles of the KrazyK

If you have any advice, PLEASE feel free to share. I just told my husband this morning that we should take a month (or more) and travel around the campgrounds and ask seasoned RV'ers what the ONE item that they just can't live without is. We keep looking at things going, "Oh, we need that!" When truth be told, we probably don't.

Thanks in advance for any advice you want to share.

I am looking forward to looking through the threads and grasping all I can.

Sounds like it's going to be a great adventure, look forward to reading your blog. Welcome to the forum, which unit did you buy? We bought the oxygenics shower head yesterday and like everyone has said it's worth the $30.

No 'real' curriculum for now. The first year will be a little of this and a little of that. I am looking forward to having the time to work on each child's specific needs. We will learn a 2nd language, study American History, which will, of course, also encompass reading and writing skills. We are also hoping to be able to skype into our current public school and do video presentations while we are out.

The first year will be a little more like un-schooling.
