Hello from the Okanagan Valley in BC

My family have just bought our first travel trailer, a 2019 Wolf Pup 16BHS. We have tent trailer (very old unit) and tent camped in the past. This is very exciting for us.

We love to boondock, so I will be looking up or asking questions on the equipment specs, usability, etc.

Welcome to FRF, from Camano Island.

For dry camping or boondocking, here's our list of must haves:

Inverter generator
Tote tank for gray water
Dual battery setup, preferably 6v golf cart batteries
6 gallon FW container
12v inverter for tv and charging electronic devices
Oxygenics shower head
TV tower signal app

I found 6v golf cart batteries locally at Canadian Tire. They are 230 amp aH rated. So the question is, when connected in series to get 12v, does the aH double as well?

6v battery

No. Series doubles the voltage, parallel doubles the amperage.

You still have 230 ah but much better batteries to do the job.
