I am in a town called Baldwin. Right next to Rockville Centre, Oceanside and Freeport. Been here all my life, I think (hard to remember at my age (LOL!!). No, I have been here all my life. Pretty much due south of Roslyn. Some folks in my town due south of me got hit really bad by Sandy (some house still haven't been found!).

I have family still up there, roslyn hghtd, glen cove and out in bluepoint, they come to fla more than i go see them....i do go back up to the hudson valley to see my daughter who is in her third year at west point. Moved to fla over 3 years ago and the weather has been wonderful, my daughter has called us and said there was an earthquake, hurricanes and lots of snow since we left. Unheard of when i lived there, noreasters was the worst, and just a little flooding. My buddy lives in the rockaways and is still shoveling sand from his garage. Ny'ers are resiliant though and they will get it back into shape..hope the weather warms up a bit so you can start rving.........

Hope it warms up by Memorial Day, but we just got almost three feet of snow in Lewis County!
