Hello from Virginia

My wife and I are going to pick up our new Cherokee Grey Wolf on Friday. We have been camping for about six years now with a pop-up camper. This is our first time with a travel trailer. I'm expecting things to be quite different with the new camper (faster setup and tear down being among them). We have done most of our camping in Virginian and Lancaster County PA, but now with the Grey Wolf we are looking forward to further camping destinations.

I look forward to reading about all of your camping experiences as well as any advice you may have for a new travel trailer owner.

Thanks again,
Bryan Findley

Hello, and to the forums. Hope you enjoy the stay, and learn a lot, and can teach others what you already know. Hope you make many memories with the new trailer.

Congrats on your new Cherokee Grey Wolf! Friday is almost here so you must be excited! With your experience you should be able to adapt easily to the new trailer. If anything is new to you be sure to fully understand it before moving onto the next item in the pdi. Take good notes and even use a smartphone for pics and video as needed.

Pictures are welcome.

Great choice for "Living within my means" and camping for one...

Congratulations on the new tt. This is our 2nd season in a tt after moving up from a pop up. Enjoy your new tt and I'm sure you will like the easy and quick set up and tear down. What part of VA are you from. We are in the eastern panhandle of WV.

Welcome aboard Bryan! We're down in Norfolk and have only been RVing for about 12 years. Had a class A until this spring when we got our first 5th wheel Toy Hauler. We've spent the majority of our camping trips right here in the Old Dominion. The State Parks are the best we've ever seen and the diversity of the geography has kept us right here. The 38' fiver limits us somewhat from some of the remote mountain areas, but that's where the Toy (Harley) comes into play. And nothing beats camping behind the dunes on Hatteras Island.

Again, Welcome Aboard and hope to see you around the Commonwealth!
