Hello from Virginia

Hi, folks. Recently purchased my first RV...2016 3170. Rented a few over the years, but I guess this constitutes a commitment, eh?

Usage will be recreational, no full timing just yet. The grandkids are more excited than I am, thus the bunkhouse decision.

I've been lurking the forum for a while while I was making my purchase decision. Looks like a very active forum, and folks seem to be very willing to jump in and help with answers and tips.

Boy, do I have a lot of questions. I promise to try Search first, and will be very appreciative of any assistance. Hopefully, after a while, I'll be able to return the favor. Tough being a noob...

Bought ours in January of this year. It is all about the grand kids. First issue we have the 6 year old grandson has declared the top bunk as his. Leaving us to satisfy the requirements of the 4 year old granddaughter.

She is a tuff negotiator, gets it from granny no doubt. So far she is content to sleep on the queen bed with grandma and I use the couch. Works for me like it does at home.

We have been having some full time fun with the kiddo's versus the normal overnight stays.

As a parent of 2 little ones, I love reading about you grandparents keeping the kids in mind. My two love time spent with their grandparents almost more than anything else.

Keep on being awesome!

Agree about the grand young'uns Just got back from 4 days & nights at Salt Springs in NE Fla. with our three & had a fantastic time: they really had a great time, as did we. Wouldn't trade it for all the money in the world.
BTW GDT & Wobbles, welcome from NE Fla & hope you have many more enjoyable times with the grand children.
