Hello from Waco TX

So the wife and I just bought our third new camper in 7 years. 2014 Puma 30-RLSS. Cant wait to go pick it up, in a couple of weeks, but wanted to share my experience while unloading the trade-in, this weekend. First off, I've come to realize that, if you let yourself, you end up with a pretty big pile of "stuff" in your camper, over the course of several camping seasons! The shop was cluttered with a bunch of stuff that we've been hauling around for a while. I think I'll work on a better program, for what we keep in the new unit, after seeing this.

Second thing, and what was really cool was, as I was unloading all this stuff, I remembered the trip, and all the fun, that caused us to collect all this stuff!! It was a blast recalling all the fun trips we've taken, and experiences with friends and family!!! We traded camper #1 for #2 in order to add room, prior to the birth of our youngest daughter. She's now 5 and bugs us almost weekly, to go camping.

I cant wait for springtime, when we, and our camping friends will be back at the campground, making memories again!!

Welcome, from an ex-pat Brit in the top LH corner of the US. I'm retired now, but while I worked for Boeing, I spent a good deal of time in Waco, working on VIP airplane conversions at Chrysler Technologies out at the Tech College airport.

If you have contacts with old CTAS folks, I was known by my legal first name of Allan.

Congrats on the new rig!!

Hey, that's Fun Town! (Not to be confused with "Fun Time")
If you are in Waco then you had a nice little ride to get her.
Waiting for Spring time? The heck you say! Hell, one of the few nice things about living around here is 12 month camping! (Well, 9 months for me, I do not even think about camping in the summer around here)
Have fun!

Congrats on the new rig; looks great! And welcome from northern arizona!
My wife and I keep a journal in our rig and write down the highlights of each trip in it with a few pictures. It's always fun to go back and read about earlier trips! Plus, at my age, having those notes helps me remember!
Happy camping!
