Grew up in Mad Town and graduated UW in 1967. Those were the days my friend! I tell folks here in Florida about chopping a hole in the ice to fish when its zero degrees at high noon. Must have been really desperat for something to do after the Packer season ended.

Best thing about ice fishing is you don't have to worry about how to keep the beer cold .

Welcome to FRF!!

and before you get some misinformation about popups and Yellowstone, there's only one campground at YNP, that has a permanent ban on soft-sided RV's.
that's Fishing Bridge campground and you wouldn't want to camp there anyway.
it's the only CG with hookups and is dominated by large rigs and the sites are very narrow and close to each other.
all the other major YNP campground allows for tents and popups and hybrids.

Thanks for that info! We had another dealer tell us that we couldn't use a pop up at YNP. We checked it out somewhat, and have found conflicting information. I've seen other threads on this site say the same thing you have, so that is good news. We are a couple of YNP rookies, so any info is helpful.

Welcome Wisconsin campers! We just bought a 23IKSS this fall. Only had one trip to Georgia and back. But, had warm weather, rain, snow and really cold temps! The camper was great. But we do need to get the Popup Gizmos.

We are located between Madison and Milwaukee and hope to shovel the trailer out in a few weeks and head south.......after they thaw out!
