Thumbs up Hello from Wylie, TX

Just wanted to drop in and say hello. I just bought my first RV about 1 month ago...2013 Heritage Glen 312QBUD.

Two trips so far and another this weekend. My wife, three daughters, and I all love it! Couldn't be happier so far!

Thanks Bill! Let me know if you have some favorite spots in the area. Right now we're sticking to fairly short trips. So far we've been to Cooper Lake SP, Lake Tawakoni SP, and this weekend we're heading to Mill Creek Ranch in Canton.

We have camped at Tawakoni SP. We also go to East Fork in Wylie when we just want to get out of the house for a while. Do you like Mill Creek we have thought about it but never made it. We will be going to the race at TMS April 13th we camp Thursday till Sunday and have gone there since the first race they had.

Welcome to the forum, and howdy fellow Ag. I just bought a 2013 WindJammer 2809W to replace a smaller trailer. Really like it, perfect for a retired bachelor with lots of friends.

I live south of you in a little town called College Station.

Welcome from down the road a bit! Nice setup you got. One place we found we really like is Crockett Family Resort (Crockett Family Resort - Rates). We went in December when all the trees were asleep (big Christmas craft/yardsale, etc in Crockett), but can't wait to check it out again in the summer. It's a rough road getting in (not well maintained), but what a great place. It looks like it used to be maybe a KOA.

This will be our first time at Mill Creek. I'll let you know how it goes.

No that we have an RV, I may have to try out the TMS experience. I have some friends that are die-hard race fans, but I've never been.

Thanks everyone...and no, we didn't exactly start out small with our first RV! But, with a family of 5 plus the dog, it's perfect for us.

Very nice looking TT! You must have a daredevil in the family, looks like an attempt to jump the TT is being considered, lol.

Thanks! That's funny. It does kind of look like a ramp is set up in the yard.
