Hello New from FL

Hello there FRF,
Just got a 2004 Forest River RV Flagstaff 8528BHSS and my family and I are super excited. We picked it up on Thursday and started packing for our first trip in it this past weekend. My 2004 Dodge Ram Cummins pulled it extremely well. It is a great feeling to go camping when not in a tent and to use a camper that is not borrowed from the inlaws!!

Attached is a picture of our Rig!!

Great looking rig! I'm from Jax. What part of Fl are you in? I also pull with a Dodge, but a 1500 QC hemi. It struggles to pull this setup, with a 3:54 rear, and 17's. I travel only around Florida, and S.Georgia. Randy

Thanks for the welcome all!!
I look forward to many camping trips and I enjoy reading / learning. And sometimes sharing. I actually live in St.Johns FL. I will be here until the end of Feb. Then we are relocating to GA. We have planned a trip up there for this weekend!! Oh and I just got my Tow/Haul Mirrors in for my truck!!

Another thing I discovered was a couple of leaks... One was in the shower at the faucet. Dripping into the shower. Not sure how I want to tackle this one yet! The other was at the water filter just at the brass fitting going to the plastic piping; I figure I can fix with some Teflon tape and some more elbow grease.
