Hello, Newb from TN
I have been reading the forum for a few days trying to learn as much as I can about Travel Trailers as today the family and I brought home a 2013 Surveyor Sport 260. I was rather please with the handling on our 80+ mile drive home. And let me please shout out for joy that I was able to get it in our driveway! I look forward to learning a lot on here and hopefully sharing in some fun times on the road.

Welcome from another Tennessean. Lots of good information on here, just don't be afraid to ask. We live near Smyrna, TN, camp at most of the campgrounds in a 50 mile radius of here. We do venture out of the boundaries every now and then.

Thanks for the kind welcome! I am still learning the ins and outs of the forum, but so far I am very pleased to be here. We are down here in Cleveland, TN and we are looking forward to some great trips. We spent yesterday and today playing around in it learning about our TT and making it ours. One thing for sure is we will be changing out the bricks, aka mattresses. We also noticed the lights create a bit of heat, so I am off to find the thread about LED's.

Helmsey,
Yes we are rather fortunate in our location as there are many great places to camp/visit. We are starting slow, though. Our first trip will be to Harrison Bay with some other experienced campers. My wife and 6 year old son are chomping at the bit right now. LOL

We drove down to Harrison Bay a while back to check it out, looked like a nice place. We actually haven't stayed anywhere in that area since we have so much to chose from around here. It's easier for us as weekenders to hop over to Pigeon Forge, Townsend, or one of the state parks for a quick weekend.

Welcome from another Newb! We have a Cardinal Platinum 5er, but my son and daughter-in-law just bought a 2013 Surveyor Sport 240, and they really like it. They will be traveling to MI to camp with us and our daughter and her family in a couple of weeks so we will get the tour of the new rig then.
We have been to TN quite a few times and usually camp in the Gatlinburg area. A beautiful part of the country.
