Hello! Roo 23S We LOVE it!!!

In March we purchased a 2004 Roo 23S. We went from a tent family to a Roo and it is one of the best decisions we could have made! We had planned to go on our maiden voyage on Memorial Day, but our daughter was hospitalized from April 3 until June 15th, so our first voyage was postponed until late June. We have been camping every weekend since then! We have gone as far as 635 miles from home with it and we tow with a Dodge Ram. We don't even know it is behind us most of the time as it pulls so easy!
We camped over Labor Day weekend and are hoping that we will be ableto go at least 2 more weekends before we, sadly, have to put it away for the year...
ANyways...
We are a family of 5; Dh, me, DD (11), DGD (10) and DGD (8). Our daughter has cerebal palsy, and this 'step-up' has certainly made taking care of her and transfering her easier on both of us!
Lynne

Hi Lynne,

Congrats on a great maiden voyage, and all the good trips there after. Glad you all like the Roo. Rockwood is about the most popular brand Hybrid sold.

btw: Welcome to FRF.

Enjoy,

Congrats on joining the Roo Kroo!!!

did you get the 23SS or the 233S? i'm assuming with the size of your family that it's the 233S.
how do you like it? you're the first person on these forums that i've seen with one. a number of people are debating whether the slideout is worth losing the wardrobe that the 233 comes with.
