Hello to everyone from North Carolina!
Hi, my husband and I just bought a 2014 Tracer 2950bhs Touring Edition and are so excited. Last year we bought a brand new 2013 Rockwood HW296 pop up and used it a few times before deciding that a travel trailer was in the near future for us. The pop up was just to much work setting up, tearing down, and having to worry about every little step because it is so delicate. It is very easy to forget a step when setting up or tearing down with three little kids running around. We were trying to be content with it and keep it... However, on our last trip out with it, we got caught in a thunderstorm which pretty much sealed the deal. Started looking at travel trailers that night on my cell phone.
So we finally found a floor plan that is perfect for our family. We love the interior as well as the exterior. There is nothing about the trailer that we had to settle for. We could not find one in North Carolina and ended up driving 6 hours to Lexington, KY to pick it up. It tows like a dream. We didn't even know it was back there. We bought an Equi-lizer weight distribution system with sway control. I have been reading this forum for many years now and am totally addicted to it.. especially now! Our maiden voyage is in less than two weeks. We are going down to Florida and will de-winterize before we leave and winterize once we return. So excited! Thanks for all the helpful advise on this forum and I look forward to getting to know you.
