Hellow from tire engineer

Just stumbled across this forum. I have been posting on other forums on tires for the past 6 years so some of you may already know me or have read my blog on RVTireSafety or taken one of my seminars at various RV rallys or conventions.
I will be doing some searches on tire related words such as blowout, inflation and Ply Rating. If you have a specific question you can always PM me as I am happy to offer suggestions and advice. I do ask that you provide tire size and load range and your normal inflation as this information will help me give answers based on facts rather than having to guess.
I have been into RVs for a number of years. My current unit is Class-C Coachmen Freelander. Have previously owned truck slide-in camper, 26' towable, Mini-Winni and 18' towable.

OK so my fingers don't know how to spell :-)

I saw it too late. You know you can't edit the title of a post?

Welcom, and thnks fr joyning our brd!

Now that we got that out of the way, shall we get to one of the hottest topics on tires?
The general consensus of this forum seems to be that, in general, the manufacturers of our campers are putting very poor tires on our units.
Do you think some of these off-brand Chinese tires are indeed inferior and poorly constructed?
