Hey! From Florida's panhandle

New member. My wife and I are in the process of purchasing a new 2015 V-Lite 26WFKS, and I'm a big fan of real experience, and have noticed that the best way to get answers, is to ask questions.
We intend to use the trailer mostly for housing, when traveling from A to B to visit family, and as a place to live when we're visiting, and or taking trips just to look around.
We live in The Pcola area of the panhandle of Florida.
I look forward to the give and take, and hope I can contribute as much to the discussions, as I hope to glean from whats here.

Gordon

We're transplants from the land of Lincoln. After this last winter, and what I saw on the news up that way, we're happy where we are now.

Congrats on your new TT and joining FRF!

your trailer is our current top choice for a TT(or its twin, the Windjammer 2618), if we decide on getting a TT when we retire this year. we should be able to tow it with our Avalanche.

the DW prefers the 2618's decor choices, to the 26WFKS's choices though.
those choices may change later in the 2015 model year.

did you look into replacing the sofa bed with the optional theater seating?
that's something we would do.

Katkt, congratulations on your new V-Lite and welcome to the forum. We'll be down your way in mid-May, we have reservations at Henderson Beach State Park in Destin.

You'll love your V-Lite. We've had our Windjammer for just about a year and absolutely love it...camped in it just about 100 nights from March to November last year.

Yes, we did, and we did. The theater seating is very comfy, and feels better then my recliner at the house. I'm not sure how much the difference between the tufted sofa upgrade with the Diamond should have come into play cost wise though. I think the pricing, is based on the standard 67 inch couch.
We both like the kitchen in the front layout. I thought the inside of the V-Lite was nicely done, all things considered.
We're looking forward to getting the trailer. I have a boat I have to get cleaned up, and on the market, between now and when the TT comes in though.

katkt, please post some pics of your theater seating.
i've seen two different kinds in pics of V-Lite/Windjammer trailers.

i'm hoping it's the one with the wider center console with two side-by-side cup holders, instead of the one with the narrower center console with two inline cup holders.

It's the one with the cups in tandem, instead of side by side. That's the one we looked at, and I think we're going to get anyway. My wife saw them on the website, and when we went back to have another look, the sales guy took us to a completely different type of trailer to show it to us. They had about 8 different sizes and shapes of V-Lites, but none with the theater seating in them. He didn't even know it could be substituted.
Should I live in fear of the tandem cupholder?

No pics yet, Dan. At this moment, they have a down payment, and we have a promise to deliver, whenever the Manufacturer gets it built.
