Hey from Ohio

New to any type of Forum posting but I do admit to being a stalker for a while now and learning A LOT from you all. Been through the ranks of tent, hybrid, travel trailer, motorhome... and now back to a Rockwood 2907SS which to us is the bomb. Pretty excited to get going this year because Santa, being the great guy he is, brought me a new 2500HD TV. Towed locally last year with the Suburban, and it was legal, but white knuckled maxed. Thinking Colorado this year if we can get rid of this white stuff so if you have some hot spots to recommend I'm all ears.

Welcome. In Colorado you've got to see Durango and Silverton. You can actually ride a steam train to and from Silverton. Both cities have very conveniently located RV parks.

I'm in Tipp City, guessing you're around the Brookville area?. We just got a seasonal site this year at Natural Springs in New Paris, although we also travel around quite a bit.

while you are in the Durango area, need to go to Mesa Verde outside Cortez. Not sure on the campgrounds but worth checking into. Western Colorado is a beautiful area. I should know, it is my back yard!

Welcome Caveman. !!

We went through part of Colorado on our return from Yellowstone, looked very nice. But we were out of time, and only passing through. The only thing I would say about it, wow. ! It was a LOT of driving. The first 2-4 days were not bad, days 18-20..... Wheew tired of sore neck ! Lol ! Most definitely worth every second !!
Enjoy. !

You found me AquaMan. Natural Springs is a nice campground. Been there a couple times a year since it was Frantz Lake. We do like to roam also. Got an invite from YooRoo to a "tadpole rally" at the little farm. Gonna try to make that and introduce ourselves. Heck... I can drink a beer in front of anyone.

I'm pretty sure we will be at the "Tadpole" rally again this year. I'm hoping it will be "drier" than last year though.

Always good to have another Buckeye here. There are many great places to camp in Ohio. We try to find new ones to try each year.
