Hey from PA!!

We are the Tate family. We've been camping for several years, my husband since he was a child. We recently purchased a new-to-us CC Silverback 5th Wheel. Eventually, it will be our home as we are going to transition to full-time RV living.

We are a family of 3, we just recently lost our beloved beagle, Sadie Mae the four days before we got our camper.

We're getting to know our RV, inside and out. This unit is bigger than our TT but the kitchen is smaller so that's a challenge for me (Momma Tate) as I am in the kitchen all the time.

Welcome from Lancaster PA! Good luck on your transition. Love camping but I don't know if I could do it permanently as a home.

Welcome to our board Danielle!

Hope you will find exactly what you are looking for here.

We try to camp at Gettysburg every year (except this one due to Laura's kidney transplant) and hope to meet you on the trail one day.

Though we missed the International Rally in Goshen Indiana this year, maybe we will see you at the Rally next year (or a FROG Rally at Gettysburg when next they put one together!)

Welcome from Southern Illinois. We will be in Lancaster County for a visit in a few weeks. I hope you enjoy your camper and your new adventures and I'm so sorry to hear that Sadie Mae won't be going along.

Herk, the Gettysburg rally is going to be the same week next year as it was this year. Brian secured it with the campground before we left this past June. There was a good turn out. Plus no long long lines for food!👍

Welcome from north central Florida! We have a TT, but want to get a 5er when we retire so we too can travel full time. A washer/dryer is a must for us as we have experienced long lines at laundry mats on the road. I also hate to wash dishes, so I want a dishwasher as well. I want all the comforts of home. Camping now is fine without all that, but if we sell the house to full time, that is a different story.

It's nice to see a post by another woman. I don't know what the percentage of females to males is on this forum, but we are outnumbered!
