Hey Y'all

My name is David and my family and I are currently stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC. My wife and I are originally from NC, so it was coming home after being away for 12 years stationed in various places in the US. We started camping with a tent in Tennessee and Hawaii, then moved up to a popup in Kansas and just recently purchased a 2004 Cedar Creek 30RKBS (we wanted to make sure that we enjoyed camping in the luxury of a 5th wheel before spending a ton of money). My wife has practically redone the whole inside with reupholstering the couch, the dining room chairs, the valances, new curtains, new wallpaper border, new bedspread...the whole 9 yards. So far, it has been a dream come true. When I hang up my beret in 2 years after serving more than 30 years in the Army hopefully there will be a brand new Cedar Creek for the Misses and me!

Welcome to the site, sounds like you have done the same thing as lots of us by moving up each time to something bigger/better. Thank you also, for your years of service, it is good to have you here.

Welcome aboard and Thank You AND your wife for your service.
After 33 years married and serving in the Air Force, I know that her service time was just as hard (or some days harder) as yours.

Feel free to PM me at any time for anything.

Heck, at one time or another you might have jumped from my plane!

Thanks to you and your wife for your service to our country. I used to ask why anybody would want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. Since then I have made some landings, standing behind some pilots, that made me quit wondering why you would sometimes prefer jumping rather than staying with the plane.

Hey Lou..........if David is just one of the many people you feel may have jumped from your plane............should we be afraid of your piloting skills? Very afraid? I'm just sayin.........

Well, to the best of my knowledge, no one who was supposed to stay aboard; jumped. There were two times though, when they did kiss the ground after we slid to a stop!
