Hey Y'all From the Texas Hill Country

Hey, y'all. We joined the FR community in January, when we bought our Rockwood 2906ws, but just found the forum.

So far, we're still getting used to a TT with TV, after having a Class A and toad for so many years. Spousal Unit has Parkinsons and no longer feels comfortable driving the class A. Even though the overall length is much longer, the setup is not as tall or wide, so Spousal Unit feels much better with this setup. I'm ok with either.

The trailer is named Steinbaum (Rockwood in German) and believe me, it's a he.

We're retired from a cumulative 66 years Army (and in my case, DoD) assignments, both as military and civilian. Came home to Texas and have been having a great time ever since.

We'll "see" y'all round the forums.

Welcome! Going to be up at Garner next week. Haven't been to the hill country in a while.

It's particularly beautiful this spring. You'll enjoy it.

Thank you both for your service & welcome back home.

Really nice TT you chose. The opposing slides in the rear make for all kinds of kick back & relax space.

We were at Garner a few weeks back. The water in the Frio is just beautiful. Pick your site carefully though. We didn't consider the afternoon sun. It beat down on the side of our trailer for hours more than was necessary. Just a couple spots down from us, the trees had other units all nice & shady.

I'm not an expert. But I play one on the internet.
