Smile Hi All and Great Forum!!!

Although I registered in 2008, I have not posted until today. I have been more active on the rv.net, but didn't realize how much better this forum is until now! We have been avid campers for the past 25 years and have gone all the way up from tents, to tent trailers, to small Bonaire travel trailers, 21 ft Terry 5th wheel, large Jayco 32.5ft travel trailer, to our current Wildcat.
My hubby and I like to get away camping as much as possible and currently have a 2009 Forest River Wildcat 29RLBS. It's been a great unit. Solidly built and very little issues with it. My daughter likes to camp with us but due to her age/how busy she is with university it is getting less and less that she comes with us. My son wants no part of it and instead keeps the home fires burning!
DH and I are hoping to begin early retirement September of 2013 and we are therefore looking to upgrade our current 5th wheel due to comfort issues. We have our eye on a 2013/2014 FR Palomino Columbus F325RL. We have yet to see inside one, but have been inside an F320RS which is fairly similar. These units have the comfortable chairs, bigger/all in one bathroom, outside kitchen that we are looking for, not to mention higher quality that we are used to. We are not rich, but want to spend whatever time we can get away camping in comfort and this will be our early retirement gift to ourselves.
Anyways, great forum and I'll likely be spending a lot of time here from now on in.
Cathy

Welcome from So. Illinois.

Since my joining, I am amazed at how much helpful info is here. Who says "you can't teach an old dog new tricks". It happens here everyday for me. Enjoy!

We just got our 320rs back from our dealer yesterday. When we walked into it we were reminded just how beautiful this rig is and all of the reasons that influenced our original decision to buy it. Congrats to you! Hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy ours.
