Hi all, from central Michigan
We are so excited!! We pick up our Forest River Wildcat 295RSX on Monday. This is our very first new fifth wheel. We started out in a tent many years ago, moved up to a couple of pop-ups, then to a 19' travel trailer, then a well-used old fifth wheel so we are old campers in more ways than one. We tow with a 2006 diesel Chevy Silverado, 2500. We travel with two older mid-size dogs, Maggie Mae and Scarlett O'Hairy and our tomcat, Sam. They are also seasoned travelers. We looked at a lot of the posts before we shopped - so helpful! We are both retired (Larry from Navy 31 years and Jacki from civil service) and spend winters in the south.
We are looking forward to meeting fellow Froggers

How do you like your new 295RSX?
We are seriously considering that model ourselves.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, we are happy to be included. to Mr. Dan: So far we like the rig. we have moved into it for the summer while we remodel our home here on the lake. We are still getting settled in, we really like the storage and openness of it. We got the easy chairs instead of the "theater chair". And the basement is huge, I got everything that I had stored in the two places in the old Keystone Cougar we had. So far we have found minor things that need to be attended to in the future. My wife really, really likes the kitchen. Every day she tells me "I really like this kitchen lay out." I think we have a winner with Forest River Wildcat!!

I'm sorry to report I'm just now seeing this - I don't know why.
Thank you for your evaluation/report. Funny thing.. we also have a Keystone Cougar!
Thanks again.
