Hi from Belleville ON newbies - 281 RLDS

Hello from the soon-to-be-frozen north ...

We have had our trailer for about 2 weeks now, and the only place we have been is the Walmart parking lot to practise backing up.

Looking forward to leaving shortly for a few months in South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
I have been playing with everything, and all seems to work OK except the Touch Audio DVD (newer one, the 300xx) - which has the same "can't-read-the-ipod" problem delineated in other threads on these forums (if anybody has an answer, love to hear it!).

I have been reading many posts about how to do this or that, how to best outfit the trailer, and such. Nice to have this portal of advice to draw upon.

Thanks for that!

Welcome. Have a great trip south. Are you crossing over at Ivy Lea?

Welcome to the forum folks.

We just back 2 weeks ago from a 32 day trip thru Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. Lots to see and do. Lots of great fresh seafood. And lots of great weather throughout.

Thanks to all for the welcome!

Yes, we plan on crossing over at Ivy Lea, and basically 81 south to 95. Won't start the preferred "meandering" until we get to the part where it is warm!

Thanks all!

Looking forward to warmth (and seafood!)
Amazing to see others from my neck of the woods here ... hadn't expected that for some reason.

Welcome. I'm not sure where you plan on getting on 95 from 81 but I suggest taking 81 to 64 East to 288 (by-passes Richmond, VA) to 95. Maybe we will see you in FL as we are heading down in mid January. Unless of course our favorite team wins out and we get to go to a bigger bowl game! Then we will be in Florida earlier.

Welcome from another Ontarian. Hope you have a nice trip. We unfortunately are out of the snowbird scene for a few years while we babysit our preschool grandson but that gives us a warm feeling too. Don,t be surprised by how many of us there are on this site as it is just the kind of place Canadians like to be......very friendly. Take your time and travel safely. Old Guys
