Welcome. Sounds like a plan. If you need any assitance in finding a spot in Arizona let me know becasue I live in Phoenix. Have you thought where you want to setup camp during the winter here in AZ?
Don't forget to buy a place with a big lot to park your motorhome.
Bonnie Lake, WA has some nice houses and lots. Do you know where that us?

Welcome to the group! Us Washingtonians are starting to make a real presence here. Perhaps we should start a FRF Washington chapter.

Sadona, Prescott are nice as long as you don't catch any snow.
We will also stop by Quartzite to check out all the crazyness in Jan and Feb but no trailer just driving over and checkout the deals.

lol Jan, no wonder why you like Washington so much. Everybody loves Washington when they are away from all the hustle and bustle of the populated areas. I know I do. It's the only thing that keeps me here after 35 years.
I think you would change your tune in a short while living in the Tacoma, Seattle, Everett areas full time.

We have spent time in all of WA. Donna middle boy was a Nuke on the USS Abraham Lincoln and lived in Everett. We stayed in the motel on the base. We love the OlyPen National Park and even Pike Place market. I love the overall atmosphere of WA state, but the rain, not so much.

I agree with you Steve, when you have to live and work in the hustle and bustle of the city it drives you crazy. Seattle, Tacoma and the surrounding areas are old cities and the roads are inadequate. I remember when there were daffodill and gladiolia fields around Sumner and Puyallup, Bonnie Lake was not developed... aw I digress. We have lived in San Jose, San Diego and the metro D.C. area. It is all the same when you are working. But IMHO the atmosphere and beauty of the PMW cannot be beat. You folks out there have so much out there, lots of camping spots, fishing, etc. and of couse rain, but that is what keeps it so beautiful. sorry, I just really love the PNA.

Welcome to FRF!
the DW is a native Washingtonian, from Concrete. her uncle had lived in Bothell for over 25 years but recently moved to Monroe.
in fact, we are retiring to 5 acres on Camano Island, as soon as we can sell our house here in Napa.
her whole family is near there and we like it being in the rain shadow and that the island has a land bridge.
in fact, i like the rain better than she does!
