Hi from FL - new W&P 30WRS
Hi from Daytona Beach, FL. We are new 30WRS owners - loving the Forest River community and product.
We started in the RV life around 2008 with a 2005 Gearbox toyhauler we bought off Craigslist. We kayak and kayak fish, so toyhaulers are perfect for bringing along the yaks. Our standard poodle Rufus loves camping life as much as we do - it's so nice that most campgrounds are pet friendly, and we often look for places specific with dog-friendly areas for him.
Several years later, we know we love camping and knew what our must have's were in a new camper. Found FR product and reputation to be a great fit for us. We took our last trip in the Gearbox to Fort DeSoto, FL Memorial Day 2014 and came back that weekend to order a custom Work and Play 30WRS. 6 weeks later, it was delivered and we just now completed our first trip out, stayed at Fort Wilderness, Disney, Orlando, FL. Our 2015 model has several custom features, including the extra 6 inches of ceiling height and a special cabinet section above the front bed.
We both work full time, so can't yet camp as much as we would like, but being in Florida, our camping season is year-round so we find time to get away for quick weekend trips.
