Hi from Massachusetts

We just drove our new Sunseeker 2300 from Ashland, VA to our home in Massachusetts a week ago. We’re thrilled to have moved up from a small pop up truck camper to a comfortable Class C with plenty of storage space. We came home to to take care of leaf removal and general repairs on the house with intentions of heading to Florida in late November. It’s already getting pretty cold here and I have winterized the RV. Can’t wait to dewinterize when we get down south! The few nights we have spent in it have been great.

I want to take the opportunity to put in a good word for the great folks at McGeorge’s Rolling Hills RV in Ashland, VA. Our salesman, Lyn, and everyone at the dealership treated us with kindness and patience throughout the process. We were very picky about making sure everything was right with the new rig and they never flinched or wavered in their effort to make us happy.

I have to mention that the reason we went to VA for our new RV is that it saved us $9,000 compared to what we would have paid near home. Also, I could tell from our initial phone conversations that we would be treated better than we could expect here at home.

Anna and I want to thank all the good folks on this forum for sharing their knowledge and experience. We spent many an hour here as part of the research for our purchase. Now that we are FR owners, we hope to share and participate along with all of you.

Gary

Another welcome from western Mass. Enjoy your new RV. Think of us shoveling snow this winter as you are enjoying the Floridan weather.

Happy Trails

Anybody spending the winter here has my sympathy and respect, especially after the beating we took last winter.

This will be our first winter away and I'm a little worried about the house. We have a good security system and people checking up on the place so I'll try to relax.
