Hi from Moab Utah

Purchased a 228BH last fall, been on three trips (and the lift motor gear shattered...a different thread), but other than that setback, I do like the trailer.

Dealer did an off-road conversion by reversing the springs to give me about 4" inch extra lift, added an extra propane tank and deep cycle battery and larger tires and rims.

I pull it around with either a modified H3 or a Silverado.

Welcome to the forums.

I take it you like going off the beaten path with your rig?

Ok, pics...

Picked the trailer up at Robert's sales in Denver. This is a photo taken on the trip back to Moab last October.

My third camping trip. Campground about 30 miles from my home. I towed the trailer up to the campsite and set it all up with my Silverado...

But, after getting it there, met up with a friend and he wanted to do some serious off-roading, so I took the Silverado home, picked up the H3 and drove it back (towed the trailer back with the H3 when I broke camp).

Can't forget my camping partner...

Another half-dozen or so of your camping partner + a sled makes for a pretty serious off-road rig, too
