Hi from Nova Scotia
Hey Gang,
Have been doing a lot of reading and it's been excellent. I am a new FR owner (Salem 27 DBUD) but am not new to camping. First purchase was the 1977 Bonair 1000 tent trailer. Wife and I purchased with some wedding funds. We called it the Honeymooner!! Anyway thanks for having me and lioking forward to chatting with you all and sharing experiences.

Welcome from Concord, NC. Visited the Bay of Fundy in 2007 and really enjoyed the scenery and the friendly people.

Welcome from Texas. Would love to visit Nova Scotia some day, think I'll put that on my bucket list.

Welcome from North Chili, NY. In 2010, we toured all of the Canadian Maritime Provinces. We took 6 weeks to do it and it was not enough. 3 weeks was spent just in PEI and Nova Scotia. Some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. We had a great time touring Nova Scotia especially. Halifax, Peggy's Cove, The Cabot Trail, Hall's Harbor, Bay of Fundy, Hopewell Rocks, Ganong Chocolate Factory, I could go on for ever. And the scallops in Digby were to Die for. The scenery along the Cabot Trail was picturesque but if you are trailing I would suggest finding somewhere to park trailer first. We are definitely going back.

Thank you all for the warm welcome and its nice to hear positive things from you all about NS. There are lots of places to visit and camp here as a young family...but we will be looking at further destinations as kids get older. There is so much to see here, west, and south of the border and I can't imagine a better way to tour and vacation but touring in our TT

Smitty, welcome from the Toronto area! We toured Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and PEI for 3 weeks last summer and loved it, but we barely scratched the surface. You're absolutely right that there is so much to see there! And the pace is much preferable to here in the Big Smoke area!

Nova Scotia is one of our favorite places to visit. We were last up there in 2004 for the CMA Reunions on Surette's Island. Had a great time and got to enjoy Keith's beer once again. That was before we owned a MH and we are looking forward to going back and touring once again now that we can do it in a MH.

Welcome from Nova Scotia. Keep a watch for a Wildwood in our parks, it may be us. Just returned from a gorgeous weekend at Laurie Park.

Hey!! We were just at Laurie Park 2 weeks ago. We attended the NSGEU. family picnic that was just down the road. I was impressed with the park. It was our first time there. It would have been nice to score one of the lakeside sites. Maybe next time. Thanks for the Hello... hopefully our great weather will continue!!
