We are new to this forum and Forest River products but not new to the RV'ing lifestyle. We have just purchased a new 2012 (left over model so got an absolutely great deal!) Shasta Revere 29 FMSS to use while working in SC away from our home in FL and we are pulling it with a F-250 diesel super-duty crew cab with a beefed up suspension, air bags, 19.5" Rickson wheels, Andersen weight distributing anti-sway hitch, etc... We just love the room that this TT affords us since we are coming from our 2010 Eagle Cap 997 Truck Camper!
We are keeping our TC as our primary mode of camping so that we may pull our toys behind us since you cannot triple tow in Florida. Our truck is outfitted to haul the TC'er and was tow ready for the new Revere. However, due to the weight of the TT we will not pull the Revere while having our Eagle Cap loaded on our truck. The truck and the tow hitch will not carry that much weight on the hitch extension.
As we settle in to using our new Revere, we will be looking to this forum to meet others with RV enthusiasm and to find the answer to questions we have about our approach to making the Revere TT truly ours. We look forward to meeting new friends on this forum and thanks in advance for the welcome here.
