Hi from Texas!
Just a"hello" to all from Magnolia,Tx (45 miles north of Houston)
My wife and I are not yet retired but had been searching for a Sprinter based RV for a couple years now, and purchased a pre-owned 2010 Solera this past weekend. We plan many long weekend trips between now and retirement and looking forward to RV ing! This is our first RV.
I've been lurking on other RV forums sites and now have one to call "home"!
As has been said many times before, I'm amazed at all the information on these forums and will surely post questions in the near future.

Welcome, Keith.
We had the privilege of attending the first Texas FROG rally in Kerrville last October and really enjoyed it. A second annual one is being planned for this October (see the F.R.O.G. Rallies and Trips section of this forum). You and your DW might consider checking it out. Not terribly far for you - certainly could be done in a long weekend - and a great way to meet other RV'ers with similar interests.
