Hi from the Delmarva Peninsula

Just bought a 2012 Rockwood 2109S this past Friday, "D" Day. Lightly used and looks almost new. Ready to downsize from our Sunnybrook 27FKS that was sold about 2 weeks ago. My Silverado 2500, 6 liter and 4.10 rear is going to thank me. It weighs almost a ton more empty than the Rockwood does loaded. We've camped for over 30+ years with tents, popups, travel trailers and one 32 ft motorhome, and even a VW bus in the 70's. Now, at 67 and 68, we are ready to slow down and take it nice and easy but we're still not ready to stop camping. This small unit looks like all we will need to be comfortable and cozy since there are now only the two of us camping plus Murphy, the camping 35 lb. Puggle. He supervises the both of us. In the next couple of weeks we will be heading out for the summer. See you on the road.

Welcome to the forum! Downsizing can be a brand new experience but it pays off by making life simpler. BTW my uncle's family used to travel around in a VW van and have many good memories of camping. Nowadays a family of 7 children would kill each other before making it to the campground.
