Hi from Wisconsin

Hello from Wisconsin where Winter will not leave. New to Forest River Forums. Been a pop up camper most of my life but purchased this used Flagstaff from an older couple 2 years ago. Been to Florida for a month the last 2 Winters camping at State Parks. They are great. Retiring at the end of this year and hope to spend more time down there during Winter. I know the TT is not equipped with all the gadgets but it works just fine for me,the wife and dog. Please don't show me any pictures of the inside of your new TT. I might be tempted to spend some money I don't have.

Breul,

Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your impending retirement. I HIGHLY recommend it. One of our daughters-in-law is from Sheboygan, and my DW has relatives in Menomonie, clear on the other side of the state.

We only camp along the river 1-2 times a year when we go up to Pepin, my DW home town, kinda strange even though the river is literally 8 blocks from my house. We actually go up to the Black River Falls area to the little town of Hatfield, we camp there atleast 3-4 times a year, there are 3 county CG's there all on Lake Arbutis.

The Three Lakes area is very nice! A bunch of friends and I use to go riding four wheeler up in that area a couple times a summer. But that was 10 years ago before any of us were married and had kids.

Welcome to the forum breul from a fellow Wisconsinite. We live in Waukesha county too, township of Ottawa. Traveled for years and are starting our 6th year on a seasonal site near Montello. Speaking of camping along the river we've been to Wyalusing State Park several times and Perrot State Park. Always enjoyed camping along the mighty Mississippi.

Since you have been to Perrot SP you drove within a couple blocks of my house and right past my parents house. I was born, raised and still live in Trempealeau.

Camped all over Wisconsin but never around the Hatfield area. Sounds like
it might be someplace new to go on a weekend. Camped at Wyalusing a couple times. That is a beautiful park.
Thanks all for the welcome. I'm sure I'll be asking you all a bunch of stupid
questions in the future.
