Hi there :-)

Hi, we are totally new to all this and looking to purchase a class C very soon!
We have 2, 4 year olds and don't want to tow a car so have been looking at several options.

FR Coachman Prism 2150 LE
FR Sunseeker 2400W
FR Forester 2401W
FR Solera 24W
W View 24G

All Diesel, 3 are new floorplans for 2015 and seem exactly the same.

As I said I'm new to this, can find a really good local dealer to give me honest opinions and information locally the last one I went to knew less than we did and just wanted to sell whats on the lot.

So if FR are making 3 with the same floorplan on the same chassis with different names is there a difference? is it a fit out and quality issue?

Please chip in with ideas and opinions or alternatives

many thanks and HELLO

We are also in the market for a sprinter based RV. Thinking about the R or W models. Since the W is new there are many more R models available for sale. As far as the View/Navion the quality may be a bit better but the price is significantly higher. Have heard the Thor is decent but have never looked inside one.

Welcome to the forums! Not sure about Class C's but some TT units are twins under different names. Often the difference are with deco themes. Also I have heard some lines are more entry level. From what I have been told this also allows a dealer to sell one unit while another dealer sells the twin version.

I agree with Terier, different models for dealers within a certain range. When we look at buying we like to spend a fair amount of time in the unit before buying to see if we will like it. Bring your kids and see how it is with the slide in and out, you will be traveling in it with slide in. Look at storage, comfort, outlets(12v,USB, 110), quality of cabinets, take your time it is a big purchase. Good luck, hope you find the right one.

I was originally interested in the R model also, but want to rack mount Vespa and bikes on the back. Don't think I can slide the read bed out unless I remove the bikes. I'm now going to look at the w model to avoid this hassle.
