Homework and shopping class c

I am retired, wife retires in December of this year or as she says 139 days. I love National parks and Utah. Would like to RV ( not full time yet) but 2 weeks to 2 months on the road seems feasible.

The NPs I love are in the west and Southwest. We live on Cape Cod, Ma.

Shopping at dealers locally and RV shows and of course on line.

I thinks we have settled on class c for our initial foray into RVing.

Wife fell in love with the Leprechaun 319 DFS. she loved the fireplace , outdoor kitchen and island queen bed. I must admit I liked it also.

I did have some concerns about the "rubber roof". I would prefer fiberglass roof and overcab cap. So I think my options for fiberglass are Forester and Sunseeker.

So the shopping and the homework continue.

We just purchased a Leprechaun 317SAF, we loved the layout! There was a 319 right next to us that we toured as well, very nice rig!

Ours came with fiberglass overcab cap, but I'm new to RV'ing so I didn't know about the roof. The brochure says it's TPO, which is an elastic vinyl. The dealer said we'd need to seal it every year, but we're initially keeping ours stored indoors, so he said probably about every 5 years until we're out in the weather and sun more. We'll see.

Hope you enjoy whatever you buy!

Wow your up early?
Central coast of California?

One of my RVing dreams if to do the Coastal Highway from South to North. I wonder of a 31 footer can do that

Again thanks for the welcome

Don't close the door on a Class A. We thought about a C but we think we bought a A for almost the same price and I think the room upgrade is significant.
