Hope
The 2nd one is better. Hello everyone. This is Jeff and Tammy from Berryville,Va. We come to Forest River via Gulfstream. Had numerous problems (we only owned it for 5 months) Traded it in for our new FR. We immediatley went to Myrtle Beach for a 10 day vacation. It preformed flawlessly. except for one small water leak, that dissapeared before we left. I took off some panels underneath, and could see no water anywhere. So I guess it was just growing pains. I will keep an eye out for it, to see if it comes back. But I can honestly say, that it was for the best. We are thrilled with the craftsmanship, and the layout of the unit. Hope we have many more adventures.
Jeff and Tammy

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new camper. We are fairly close to you. We live right up the interstate near Martinsburg WV. My father inlaw lives off of Berryville Pike on the road across from Millwood high school. Hope you enjoy your new camper.

I (WE) purchased a 2012 315RE Sandpiper. Use to have a 2013 GS Canyon Trail, (for 5 months) numerous problems. Last straw was when landing gears tore up, leaving me unable to take off truck. LOVE this unit though, it has only been 3 weeks lol.

Welcome! Glad your initial experience went well, and we all hope that continues for you. Issues will come up, as they are inevitable. Forum members usually find the answers to their RV-ing questions and challenges here when they need it. Enjoy the new unit!

We have an '02 which we bought from the original owners in 2010. It won't be long before the little niggles start with your new one. IMO, none of the current RV manufacturers produce a good quality, fault-free product - even the $1M+ rigs the Hollywood stars buy. They're all built down to a price, not up to a standard.
Though we love the lifestyle our Georgetown has opened up for us, there's some minor niggle that needs fixing after every trip. Some of them are $$, some are $$$$$ or a hell of a lot of work DIY.
