How to delete posts?

I have posted a thread in the technical issues area of this site, and I cant figure out how to delete it. I have the answer I needed but when I go to edit/delete post I cant figure out how to delete it. I can edit it, but some people will waste time trying to answer my questions so I thought I would delete it. Can anyone help me?

I think only an admin can delete posts in this forum.
Some other forums I'm in will let you delete your own post.
No biggie.
Just post a reply to your original question and say you got
your answer.
